Status of Nevada Federal and State Prosecutions At this time the Federal case is set for trial on September 18, 2006. The State case in Nevada is still on appeal. 2. Status of Discovery The defense filed numerous discovery motions and the United States has responded to all of them. This Court has made findings and orders to these motions. 3. Notice of Potential Plea Agreements The United States and several defendants have entered into serious plea negotiations that may resolve the cases of several defendants. The United States has discussed in principal the parameters for pleas and is in the process of typing up potential plea agreements for most of the
