MOTION FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT
Detendant Great Lakes Chemical Corporation (‘“Great Lakes"), by and through its
undersigned counsel, hereby moves, pursuant to Rule 56 ofthe Federal Rules of Civil Procedure,
for summary judgment on Counts I and iii of E,}. Du Pont de Nemours and Co1npany”s
(“DuPont") Ameudecl Coinpiaint and Count I of Great Lakes’ Counterclaim, in support of its
Motion, Great Lakes submits its Opening Brief In Support of Defendant Great Lakes Chemical
CO1']30l'3iIOlI’S Motion for Summary Judgment ("Opeui1rg Brief") tiied contemporaneously
herewith.
For the reasons set forth in the accompanying Opening Brief and supporting papers,
Great Lakes respectfuliy requests that this Court grant summary judgment and enter jucigment
against DuPont on Counts I and iii of DuPont’s Amended Complaint, and enter judgment in
favor of Great Lakes on Countl of Great Lakes’ Counterclaim.
