A Notice of Past Due Alimony is used to give official notice to your former spouse that alimony has not been received. This notice reminds the spouse of his or her obligation and states the amount owed that is past due. It also contains remedies which are available to the spouse if the alimony is not timely paid.

The purpose of this notice is to remind you of the alimony provisions in our divorce decree.  According to the divorce decree, Alimony payments must be made by the __ day of each month.  To date, you have not complied with these Alimony provisions and your Alimony payments are past due.

Please make payment promptly.  Failure to make timely payments may result in contempt of court.
